Sleuth

Based on a play by Anthony Shaffer, Sleuth tells the story of Andrew Wyke, a wealthy author who writes detective stories, and Milo Tindle, his wife's lover. Wyke is seemingly willing to leave his wife and strikes an unusual deal with Tindle. This begins a strange sort of game between the two with ever-rising stakes.
