Olivier, a baby boy, is put up for adoption in 1960s Quebec. Passed from foster family to foster family in search of his forever home, Olivier grows resilient as he dreams of an independent life where he can control his own destiny. A clear-eyed look at foster care and adoption, this film was inspired by the experiences of Josélito Michaud, who grew up in the foster system.
